The role of a leader is very demanding. If you are new to this role you can find yourself suffering both emotionally & mentally and sometimes even physically. When I was promoted to supervisor while working at a Fortune 100 company I had no idea what to expect and by not knowing what to expect I found myself feeling unprepared and incompetent.
Because I am no failure I set the intention to create the best leadership experience I could have. I believe that successful leaders must know how to build high performing teams and embrace the necessity of self-care.
