The pain and loss of a failed marriage/relationship is a healing journey that should not be taken alone especially during the holiday season. Having faced a divorce myself I know how stressful it can be and how having the right support system is vital. In our society the holiday season represents family and joyous time, so this time of year can be extremely difficult for someone who’s recently divorced, broken up or heading for divorce. The emotional heaviness of rejection, anger and loneliness can lead to emotional spending and eating which can open the door for even more issues.
